By: Peter Tayo In the realm of superheroes and supervillains, an origin story or back story is always there.  From getting bit by a spider, or getting struck by lightning, there’s always something that drives these superheroes to want to save people. Even though some of these tragic backstories seem common amongst heroes, they have established the heroes into who they are. Batman, Superman, Spider-man, all had tragic backstories, however, they ended up being a symbol of hope and rising above adversity in their respective universes. My question:  Translating this to the real world, what would be your origin story, what drives you every day to want you to achieve your dreams? What’s the origin of your dream?

Over the past few years, the way we consume our favorite shows and movies has changed; slowly, our favorite shows have switched from primary stream cable services to more streaming services. The change hasn’t been too drastic, considering we could pick whether we want to pay for a streaming service to watch shows and movies on cable; this is all going to change very soon. Disney recently announced that they are slowly going to be shutting down their Disney Channel networks in different regions of the globe in favor of their streaming service Disney+. Many other companies May consider following in Disney’s path and shut down their Cable networks in favor of pushing the streaming platforms. People often see fame as a way to feel important, loved, unique, and they want to be recognized by everyone.  Growing up, we usually equate fame to happiness. Back in the day, fame was associated with acting, singing, dancing, or even art. However, in today's society, fame has become associated with social media. We can be famous for Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter.  As we fantasize about the perks of being famous, we then get hit with a reality of negatives. We realize that being noticed by everyone doesn't automatically mean that you'll be loved or accepted. We’ve been doing this in numerous ways over the years, but one way that’s particularly groundbreaking is the Mars rover known as Perseverance. This photo also features Percy’s companion; the helicopter named Ingenuity! Having launched on July 30th, 2020, Perseverance (also known as “Percy”) bravely journeyed through space for about 6 or 7 months, landing on Mars on February 18th, 2021 at Jezero Crater. At the time of writing this (04/25/2021), she’s been on the planet for about 64 Sols, which is about 65 days, give or take. This also means that she’s been up there for approximately 2 months! Percy’s goals for this mission are as follows: while her main job is to “seek signs of ancient life” and “collect samples of rock and regolith (broken rock and soil) for possible return to Earth,” she also has four science objectives to complete.   By: Gianella Solorzano Save Ralph the Rabbit.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G393z8s8nFY A YouTube video made by The Human Society of the United States made a video that went viral called “Save Ralph the Rabbit” Which is a video about Ralph the rabbit and his daily job is being an animal tester for big makeup and hair companies. He says he loves his job and that at least the humans are safe and that it doesn’t matter that he blind in one eye and can’t hear from the other.  Throughout the video he states that he has chemical burns all over his body, and he is in constant pain, and toward the end of the video it shows him in a neck cast, and is blind on both eyes now. Its original modern origin is attributed to the group Seo TaIji and Boys hit song “Nan Arayo” which came out in April of 1992. They have crushed all the records of any past K-pop group, AND many records of popular American artists. In 2018, BTS became a part of the ONLY 12 artists to completely sell out all 60,000 seats in London’s Wembley Stadium.
